The conference aims to foster debate and bring together the scientific community in an effort to develop shared perspectives on the reorientation of national and international security in light of the events that have shaped the second and third decades of the 21st century. These include the COVID-19 pandemic, the full-scale war in Ukraine, the increasingly unstable situation in the Middle East and South Asia amid the growing economic and military influence of China, as well as significant shifts in the foreign policy paradigms of the United States following the 2024 presidential elections.
These efforts are aimed at achieving the optimal state of security and defense for the Republic of Poland, the rest of Europe, and countries and regions worldwide. The conference will address these issues broadly, drawing on the results of scientific research into both geopolitical and military, as well as non-military factors, considered within political, social, economic, ecological, legal, and organizational contexts.
